## How to do it in Tella

1. Open a video in the Tella editor and tell the Tella Agent the preferences you want it to keep.
2. Click Add (+) → Memory to see what it saved, under About you or This workspace.
3. Edit a video with the agent until it looks right, then ask it to "Save what you just did as a skill."
4. Check the skill on the card and click Save skill.
5. On your next video, type / in the message box and pick the skill.

## Good to know

- Needs a paid plan or the 7-day trial. Messages use your workspace's credits.
- To make the agent forget a preference, delete it in the Add (+) → Memory window.
- A skill can include reference videos or images that show your style, up to 10 MB per file and 25 MB per skill.
- Viewers and guests can run skills but not create them. A personal skill takes priority over a workspace skill with the same name.

Memory holds short preferences, like a brand color or a cutting style, that the Tella Agent keeps applying. A skill is a saved set of steps for a whole job, like cleaning up a demo, that you run by typing / in the message box.

### Can my whole team share one editing style in Tella?

Yes. Tella Agent memory has a This workspace section shared with everyone in the workspace. To share a skill, drag it from Personal to Workspace in the skill library, and every member's agent can follow it.

### Can Claude or ChatGPT save my editing style to Tella?

Yes. An AI app connected to Tella's [MCP server](https://www.tella.com/mcp) can save a workflow as a skill in your Tella library. It goes to your Personal library unless you ask for Workspace, and the Tella Agent can use it from your next chat.
