## How to do it in Tella

1. Connect [Claude](https://claude.ai/directory/tella), [ChatGPT](https://chatgpt.com/plugins/plugin_asdk_app_6a7026f78434819186579d93d20ab38b?open_in_app) or another AI app to the Tella MCP server.
2. Save a demo login in [Settings → Credentials](https://www.tella.tv/settings/credentials), with Use on set to your site.
3. Ask the AI to follow an article with Auto Capture, naming that credential.
4. Fix any mismatched steps, then ask for a new take to confirm.

## Good to know

- Closed beta on paid plans: email support@tella.com for access. Each take uses your workspace's credits, the same balance the Tella Agent spends.
- Auto Capture only records public http or https pages, not localhost, IP addresses, intranet hosts or sites with a bot check.
- Name a saved login in your prompt, never a password. Password fields are masked in the recording.
- Auto Capture uses the account for real, so use sample data. It asks before changes it can't undo.

### Can I check my help articles with Claude or ChatGPT?

Yes. Connect Claude, ChatGPT, [Claude Code](https://www.tella.tv/settings/connections), [Cursor](https://www.tella.tv/settings/connections) or another client to Tella's MCP server. It starts the Auto Capture take, compares the video with the article and tells you what doesn't match.

### What does it mean when a take ends with a question?

Tella's capture agent got stuck on something the instructions didn't explain. If it can't follow an article's steps, a reader probably can't either.

### Can I keep the recording as the article's video?

Yes. Ask the AI to put the take in a new Tella video. A take isn't in your library until then. Trim it, share it and paste its embed code into the article.
