# How to reset your password

> Reset your Tella password from profile settings or the login page

### Reset your password from Settings

If you're logged in and want to reset your password:

1. Click on your **workspace name** in the top navigation.

2. Select **Profile** from the dropdown.

3. Under the **Security** section, click **"Reset password"**.

4. A password reset email will be sent to your account email address.

5. Check your inbox and follow the link in the email to set a new password.

### Forgot your password?

If you can't log in, you can reset your password from the login page:

1. Go to the login page as you normally would.

2. Enter your email address.

3. Click on the **"Forgot password?"** link.

4. Follow the instructions sent to your email to reset your password.

### Alternative login method

You can also log in using a one-time code:

1. On the login page, enter your email address.

2. Choose the option to receive a one-time code.

3. Check your email for the code and enter it to log in.

You'll be reminded of the login method you last used, making it easier to access your account.
