# Switch from Google to email and password login

> Set a password for your Tella account if you signed up with Google

If you signed up for Tella using Google login and want to switch to logging in with your email and password instead, you can set a password from your profile settings.

### Set a password for your account

1. Go to [tella.com](https://tella.com) and sign in with Google.

2. Click on your **workspace name** in the top navigation.

3. Select **Profile** from the dropdown.

4. Under the **Security** section, click **"Reset password"**.

5. A password reset email will be sent to your account email address.

6. Check your inbox and follow the link in the email to set a new password.

You can now log in to Tella using your email and the password you just created.

### Can I still use Google login after setting a password?

Yes. Adding a password doesn't remove Google login. You can use either method to sign in going forward.
