# Subscribe to a Tella plan

> How to choose a plan and start your Tella subscription.

Ready to upgrade from the free trial or resubscribe? Here's how to pick a plan and start your Tella subscription.

## Choose your plan

Tella offers two paid plans, **Pro** and **Premium**, billed per user. Both plans include unlimited recordings and the full editing suite — Premium adds advanced features for teams and power users. See [tella.com/pricing](https://www.tella.com/pricing) for the current feature comparison.

## How to subscribe

1. Click your **workspace name** in the top-left corner.

2. Click **Settings** in the menu.

3. Click **Plans & Billing** in the sidebar.

4. Toggle between **Monthly** and **Yearly** billing — annual billing saves around 50%.

5. On the plan you want, click **Buy now**.

6. You'll be redirected to Stripe to enter your payment details and complete the purchase.

Once checkout completes, your subscription is active immediately and you'll have full access to all features on your plan.

  Annual billing is the best value — you save roughly 50% compared to monthly. You can always switch intervals later.

## After you subscribe

* **Invoices** are available in the [Stripe portal](/help/billing/download-tella-invoices).
* **Switching plans** (Pro ↔ Premium) or **billing intervals** (monthly ↔ annual) can be done any time. See [Switch between Tella Pro and Premium](/help/billing/switch-between-pro-and-premium) and [Switch between monthly and annual billing](/help/billing/switch-billing-interval).
* **Adding team members** prorates your subscription automatically — see [Understanding your bill](/help/billing/understanding-your-bill).

## Still on the free trial?

You can subscribe at any time during your 7-day free trial — once you subscribe, your trial ends and billing begins immediately. If your trial has already expired, follow the same steps above to resubscribe. Videos created during your trial are kept when you subscribe.
