# Use the Blob camera style

> Choose Blob under Camera style in Customize layout for a camera frame that wobbles and expands toward your gestures, with an optional outline.

**Blob** gives your camera a softly wobbling frame that expands toward your gestures, such as a waved hand or a leaning head. Choose it under **Camera style** in **Layout** → **Customize layout**.

Watch Blob in action from 4:16 in this walkthrough. The Snake border demonstration starts at 3:35.

## Change your camera to Blob

1. Open a video with a camera recording and select the clip you want to change.
2. Click **Layout** in the editor sidebar and choose a layout with a camera bubble, such as **Camera Bubble**.
3. Open **Customize layout**.
4. Under **Camera style**, choose **Blob**. Hover over the shape buttons to see their names.
5. Play your video to see the frame move and expand with your gestures.

You can also right-click your camera on the canvas and choose **Shape** → **Blob**. The change applies to the current layout section.

Blob needs a camera layer. A screen recording or an uploaded video with your camera already baked into it does not have a separate camera layer to reshape.

## Add an outline to the Blob frame

After choosing **Blob**, turn on **Outline** beneath **Camera style** in **Customize layout**. Turn it off to return to the Blob frame without an outline.

## Return to another camera shape

Under **Camera style**, choose another shape, such as **Circle**, **Square**, **Landscape**, or **Portrait**. You can also right-click your camera and choose the shape from **Shape**.

For a camera with no frame and no background, choose [**Cut-out**](/docs/help/editing/cut-out-camera-background) instead.
