# Publish to LinkedIn

> Post a Tella video to your personal LinkedIn profile from Share → Publish, visible to anyone or to your connections only. LinkedIn videos can be 3 seconds to 30 minutes long and up to 500 MB.

Tella posts your video to your personal LinkedIn profile from **Share** → **Publish**. The description becomes the post text, or the title if the description is empty.

## Publish a video to LinkedIn

1. Click **Share** and open the **Publish** tab.
2. Under **Destinations**, pick **LinkedIn** (connect it first if it says **Connect**).
3. Under **Post details**, click **All destinations** to show the platform tabs, then open the **LinkedIn** tab and write the post text in **Description**.
4. Choose **Who can see it**: **Anyone** or **Connections only**.
5. Click **Publish to LinkedIn**.

## Can I post to a LinkedIn company Page?

No. Tella posts to your personal LinkedIn profile only.

## How long can a LinkedIn video be?

LinkedIn videos can be 3 seconds to 30 minutes long and up to 500 MB. A video outside that length greys out **LinkedIn** under **Destinations**; hover it to see why. File size is checked just before uploading, so a video that's too big fails then: lower the size under **Export settings** or publish a shorter video.

## Can I tag people in a LinkedIn post?

No. LinkedIn doesn't let apps tag people or Pages, so an `@name` in the text stays plain text. Tag people by editing the post on LinkedIn after it's published.
