# Search your videos

> Use the Search videos… box at the top of My videos, Workspace videos, or a playlist to find videos by title, playlists by name, and the words spoken in your transcripts.

Click **Search videos…** at the top of **My videos**, **Workspace videos**, or a playlist and type to find videos by title, playlists by name, and the words spoken in your videos' transcripts.

## Where is the search box?

On a computer, the search box sits in the page header: next to **Sort by** and **Filter** on My videos and Workspace videos, and next to the playlist's name and editors inside a playlist. On a phone or narrow window, it moves to the bar at the top of the page.

Search covers every video and playlist you can access in your current workspace, not only the page you're on. Searching from inside a playlist still searches your whole library.

## What does search find?

Results appear as you type, grouped into up to three sections:

* **Playlists:** playlists whose name matches. Each shows how many videos it holds; click one to open it.
* **Videos:** videos whose title matches, with the matching words highlighted. Hover a result to copy its link.
* **Transcript matches:** clips where the words you typed are spoken. Each row shows the video title, the clip name, a timestamp, and the sentence that matched.

Sections with no matches are hidden. If nothing matches at all, you see **No results found**.

## See more results

Each section shows the first results. Click **Load more...** at the bottom of a section to load the next ones.

If a section shows **Search is temporarily unavailable.**, click **Retry**.

## What happens when I click a transcript match?

Clicking a transcript match opens that video's view page. Use the timestamp shown in the result to find the moment the words are spoken.

## Clear the search

Press **Esc** while typing, or click the **×** in the search box, to clear the search and return to your list. Opening another page also clears it.
