# Change your Tella email

> Change your account email and confirm the new address with a verification code.

## 1. Open your profile settings

1. Sign in to [Tella](https://tella.com) with your current email address.
2. Click your **workspace name** in the top left of the sidebar.
3. Select **Settings** from the dropdown. It opens on your **Profile** page.

## 2. Request the change

1. Click the **pencil icon** next to your current email address.
2. Enter your new email address in both fields.
3. Click **Send code**.

<Note>Your account email does not change until you confirm the code sent to the new address.</Note>

## 3. Confirm your new email

1. Open the inbox for your new email address.
2. Find the six-digit confirmation code from Tella.
3. Enter the code in the **Change email** window.
4. Click **Confirm**.

If the code does not work, check that you entered it correctly. You can close the window and start the process again to request a new code.

## 4. Sign in with your new email

After your email is confirmed, click **Log in with new email**. Sign in with your new email address and the same password.
