# Sort, filter, and switch views

> Find videos faster on My Videos and Workspace videos with sort, filter, and grid/list views.

You can re-order, filter, and switch the layout of your **My Videos** and **Workspace videos** pages to make large libraries easier to browse.

## Sort your videos

At the top of My Videos or Workspace videos, open the **Sort by** dropdown to choose how the list is ordered:

* **Alphabetical:** A → Z by video title
* **Date created:** newest or oldest first
* **Last modified:** most recently edited first

When the sort supports both directions, an **Order** section appears in the same dropdown. For **Alphabetical** you choose **A-Z** or **Z-A**; for **Date created** and **Last modified** you choose **Newest first** or **Oldest first**.

  Tella remembers your sorting method and direction in this browser. The same preference applies to both My Videos and Workspace videos, and remains after you reload or return later.

## Filter your videos

Open the **Filter** dropdown to narrow the list:

* **All videos:** show everything (default)
* **Not in a playlist:** show only videos that aren't part of any playlist. While it's on, the **Sort by** dropdown is hidden and videos keep their default order. Useful for tidying up: anything that lands here is "loose" and may want a home.

On **My Videos**, an extra filter lets you split your library by who owns the video:

* **Created by anyone:** every video you can access (default)
* **Created by me:** only videos where you're the creator
* **Shared with me:** only videos other workspace members have shared with you

## Switch between grid and list view

In the top right of the page, two icons let you switch the layout:

* **Grid view:** large thumbnails in a responsive grid. Best for visual browsing.
* **List view:** a compact, dense table-style layout. Best for long libraries when you want to scan many titles at once.

The toggle is also available inside any playlist.

## Library display options

Next to the grid/list toggle, the **⋯** overflow menu lets you control what's always visible on video cards:

* **Always show playlists and tags:** on desktop, enabling this keeps playlist and tag badges visible on video cards. When disabled (the default), they appear when you hover over a card. On mobile, tag badges remain visible, while playlist badges are hidden because cards do not have a hover state.

You can also toggle this setting in **Settings → Preferences → Library**.

## Bulk actions

When a list gets long, combine sorting and filtering with [bulk select](/docs/help/account/bulk-select-videos) to act on many videos at once: copy links, add to a playlist, change access, or move to trash.

Useful shortcuts while bulk selecting:

* **Cmd+A** (macOS) or **Ctrl+A** (Windows). Select every video currently loaded
* **Shift+Click:** select a range between two videos
* **✕** in the selection toolbar: clear your selection

After selecting at least one video, click **Select all** in the bottom toolbar to load and select every video in the current library section or playlist, including active filters and pages you haven't loaded yet.
