### Recording (all plans)
Screen, webcam, microphone, and system audio recording. Teleprompter built in. Up to 4K resolution on every plan. Transcription in 106 languages. Recording length is 6 hours per clip — combine multiple clips for longer videos.
### Editing (all plans)
Timeline editing, transcript editing, AI mistakes finder, buffer/silence/filler-word removal, layout editing, Auto Layouts, zoom effects, Auto Zoom, blur, highlight, backgrounds, borders, subtitle editing and styling, screen cropping, camera reframing, audio level editing, AI audio enhancement, background music, canvas sizing, and logo overlay are all included on every plan.
### Sharing and storage
Video hosting, embedded player, custom branding, password protection, comments, reactions, CTA buttons, playback speed control, and AI-generated titles, descriptions, and chapters are on every plan. Videos are retained with no expiry. Custom domain, domain restriction, and white-label are Premium and Enterprise only.
### Download and export
Video, audio, separate clips, thumbnail, subtitle, playback speed / timelapse, raw recordings, and 4K exports are on every plan. 60 FPS export is capped at 5 minutes on Pro and unlimited on Premium and Enterprise.

Pro gives total views, unique viewers, watch time, engagement, conversion funnels, last 5 individual viewers, top 5 traffic sources, top 5 locations, and up to 30 days of history. Premium and Enterprise unlock full individual viewer lists, all traffic sources, all locations, and all-time history.

Yes. Every new account starts with a 7-day free trial of Pro, no credit card required. Subscribe any time during the trial to keep recording, editing, and exporting.
### How does annual billing work?
Annual billing is charged once a year at 50% off the monthly rate. Pro drops from $26 to $13 per user per month, and Premium drops from $39 to $19 per user per month.
### How is pricing calculated for teams?
Tella is billed per user. The displayed price is multiplied by the number of users in the workspace. Volume discounts are available on Enterprise.
### How do I upgrade?
Sign up at https://www.tella.tv/api/signup and subscribe from Settings → Billing at https://tella.tv/settings/billing. Billing portal access is available to workspace owners.
### Do you offer discounts for educators or nonprofits?
Yes. Teachers and students at accredited institutions can get Tella Pro free for 6 months — see https://www.tella.com/for-education. Verified nonprofits get 50% off Pro or Premium with no expiry — see https://www.tella.com/for-nonprofit.
### Can I try Tella before paying?
Yes. The 7-day free trial gives you full access to recording, editing, and the complete AI editing suite, no credit card required. Subscribe before the trial ends to keep going.
