Find & replace subtitles

Find and replace lets you correct recurring subtitle errors without editing every occurrence separately.

Open find and replace

1. Open your video in the Tella editor.
2. Click Subs in the toolbar.
3. Click Edit subtitles.
4. In the right-side Subtitles panel, click the Find and replace icon at the bottom left.

You can also open the Script panel, open its menu, click Subtitles, and then open Find and replace.

Replace a word

1. Enter the word you want to find in Word to find.
2. Use the arrow buttons to preview each match.
3. Enter the corrected word or phrase in Replace with.
4. Click Replace to update every match.
