Connect YouTube, LinkedIn, X, TikTok and Facebook under Settings → Connections so Tella can publish your videos to them. The Facebook connection covers both your Facebook Pages and the Instagram professional accounts linked to them. You can also connect a platform straight from the Publish tab.

Connect an account

  1. Click your workspace name in the top-left corner and open Settings → Connections.
  2. Under Apps, find YouTube, LinkedIn, X, TikTok or Facebook and click Connect.
  3. Sign in to the platform in the tab that opens and allow Tella access.
  4. Come back to Tella. The card shows Connected.
To connect while publishing instead, click Share → Publish, hover a platform under Destinations, and click Connect.

Connect Instagram

Instagram connects through Facebook: Meta only lets apps post to Instagram professional accounts linked to a Facebook Page. Connect Facebook with the Facebook account that manages the Page, and allow Tella access to the Page and its Instagram account. See Publish to Instagram and Facebook.

Set your default Facebook Page and Instagram account

Once Facebook is connected, its card in Settings → Connections shows Default Facebook Page and Default Instagram account. The Publish tab starts on these, and the API and MCP post to them. You can still pick a different one each time you publish in the app.

Who can use my connected accounts?

Only you. Connections belong to your Tella user, not your workspace: when a teammate publishes a video you share with them, it goes to their own connected accounts. Teammates never see or post to yours.

Reconnect an account that has expired

When a platform ends Tella’s access, the card reads Needs reconnecting and the button changes to Reconnect. Click it and sign in again. For YouTube, Google sometimes refuses to renew access. Tella then says Tella’s access to your YouTube account has expired and Google won’t renew it. Remove Tella at myaccount.google.com/permissions, then reconnect.

Disconnect an account

Click Disconnect on the platform’s card. Posts you’ve already published stay on the platform. When you disconnect YouTube, also remove Tella at myaccount.google.com/permissions. Otherwise the next YouTube connection expires after an hour.
