You can use Tella’s free video speed changer without an account. It runs in your browser, so your video is not uploaded to Tella.

Open the free video speed changer

Change a video’s speed without a watermark or sign-up.

Change your video’s speed

  1. Open the free video speed changer.
  2. Drop an MP4, MOV, or WebM file into the tool, or click Choose a video.
  3. Choose a speed from 0.25× to 4×.
  4. Preview the video at the selected speed.
  5. Turn on Remove audio if you want a silent export.
  6. Click Export, then download the finished video.
If you change the speed or audio setting after exporting, you can export the same file again without selecting it another time.

What to expect

  • The exported video has no watermark.
  • Speech keeps its natural pitch when you change the speed.
  • There is no fixed file-size or duration limit, but long or high-resolution videos take more time and memory to process.
  • Your browser exports an MP4 when it supports the required codecs. Otherwise, it exports a WebM file.
The selected speed applies to the entire video. To change the speed of only one section, edit that section separately before using the tool.
Some browsers cannot decode HEVC videos, including some iPhone recordings. If your file does not open, try the latest version of Chrome or convert it to H.264 first.
