If your video is taking a long time to load in the editor, not opening at all, or causing the editor to hang, try enabling low-res mode (also called Edit faster). Low-res mode is on by default for new videos, so this is mostly relevant if you previously turned it off.Documentation Index

How to enable low-res mode
- Open your video in the editor.
- In the top toolbar, click the Low-res button (the flame icon) to toggle it on.
When to use low-res mode
- Your video takes a long time to load
- The editor feels sluggish or unresponsive
- You’re working on a longer video
- Your computer has limited RAM or processing power
