How to start using Tella for Online Communities
Record
From the Tella recorder, pick the screen you want to capture. Once you’re ready, press “Start recording.” You can pause the recording at any time and pick up where you left off with a new clip. When you have all your clips recorded, you can go to the editor to customise them.
Customize
When you have all your clips recorded, you can then edit them together to make a polished final video. Change your background or the layout so your webcam and screen are positioned the way that works best for your video.
Share or Download
When you’re ready to share with the community, click “Finish.” Download it to an MP4 or share it with a link. If you have any last-minute changes, you can always go back to edit it again.

FAQ
Online communities are virtual spaces where people with similar interests or professions come to network and learn. Online communities can be large and small. There are usually admins who monitor conversations in the community and manage the platform that it’s hosted on. They may also host events that bring members together.
Depending on the context of the community, members may connect in person or virtually. For many online communities, it’s not feasible to meet in person, so community through online messaging is most common. Members can send written instant messages, record videos, or just share their voices. With Tella, it’s easy to quickly make screen or webcam recordings and share them with the community.
To increase engagement in an online community, encourage members to connect with one another through video. Rather than sending a written update, have members send a quick video instead. This makes the community forums more engaging and personal.
