Record a demo without piling up test data

Tell Auto Capture what may change on your demo account. It undoes its test runs, asks before emails or orders, and reports what's left changed.

Try it in Tella

Paste a prompt into the Tella Agent in the editor, or into Claude or ChatGPT connected to Tella, then ask for changes.

Start here
Use Tella Auto Capture to record a demo of https://app.example.com: create a project called "Spring launch", add two tasks, and end on the project page. Use the "Demo account" credential. Don't send invites or emails. Delete the project afterwards.
  • B2B invoicing app

Record a how-to at https://app.example.com/invoices: create an invoice for "Maple Street Bakery" with two line items and a 10% discount, then stop on the customer preview. Use the "Billing sandbox" credential. Don't click Send.

  • Recruiting software

Make a 60-second demo for hiring managers at https://app.example.com/jobs: in "Product Designer", move "Sam Rivera" from Screening to Interview and end on the pipeline. Use the "Recruiter demo" credential. Don't email Sam. Move Sam back afterwards.

Can an AI record a demo that creates records in my app without piling up test data or sending emails?

Yes. Tella's Auto Capture records with a demo account and follows what you say may change on it. Before each run, it undoes what earlier runs saved. It stops and asks before a change it can't undo, like sending an email, and tells you what's still changed when the take arrives.

How to do it

  1. Save a demo account login under Settings → Credentials.
  2. Ask the Tella Agent for a take with the URL, credential and allowed changes.
  3. If the take stops at a one-way action, say how to get around it.
  4. Read the handoff note for leftover changes, then edit the take.

Good to know

  • Closed beta on paid plans: email support@tella.com for access. Each take uses your workspace's credits, the same balance the Tella Agent spends.
  • Every check saves changes too, not only the recording. Use an account where repeating them is fine.
  • Use sample data, not customer data. Anything the account can see may end up in the video.

Frequently asked questions

Yes. Connect Claude, ChatGPT or another AI app to Tella's MCP server and ask it to record the page with the URL and allowed changes. It starts the take and tells you what's left changed.

The Tella Agent or your AI app should ask you before a take that saves something. Tella's Auto Capture still asks before any change it can't undo.

Yes. Ask the Tella Agent or your AI app to revise the take, such as stopping before the Send button. Tella keeps the rest of the script and delivers a new take, usually faster than starting over.
