Film your signed-in product, two-step codes included
Save a demo login in Tella and Auto Capture signs in off camera, handles two-step codes, and films your signed-in product with an animated cursor.
Try it in Tella
Paste a prompt into the Tella Agent in the editor, or into Claude or ChatGPT connected to Tella, then ask for changes.
Use Tella Auto Capture to demo https://app.example.com for first-time users: create a new project, invite a teammate, and end on the project page with them listed. Sign in with the "Demo account" credential. Film each page on the way.
Make a how-to for admins setting up SSO in https://app.example.com/settings: open Security, turn on SAML, and stop on the screen showing the metadata URL. Don't save anything. Use the "Admin demo" credential.
Record a 60-second tour of https://app.example.com/analytics for an e-commerce prospect: filter to the last 30 days, open the top product, and end on the revenue chart. Use the "Sales sandbox" credential.
Can an AI record a product demo of a web app that needs a login?
Yes, Tella's Auto Capture signs in with a login you save under Settings → Credentials, off camera, so the video starts signed in. Save the login from 1Password with its one-time password and it fills two-step codes itself. Passwords are encrypted, never shown to the AI and masked in the video.
How to do it
- Save a demo login in Settings → Credentials, with Use on set to your site.
- Give the Tella Agent, Claude or ChatGPT the page URL and credential name.
- If a code is needed, type it on the Tella page and click Allow access.
- Read the handoff note, then edit the take like any screen recording.
Good to know
- Closed beta on paid plans: email support@tella.com for access. Each take uses your workspace's credits, the same balance the Tella Agent spends.
- Use a demo account with sample data. Anything the account can see may end up in the video.
- It undoes anything it saves while exploring, and asks before one-way actions like sending an email.
- Only the person who started the take can enter its sign-in code.
Frequently asked questions
Yes. Tella's Auto Capture starts the video already signed in by default. Ask it to show the sign-in in your prompt and it films that too.
No. Tella's Auto Capture only signs in with logins saved in Tella, so never paste a password, code or sign-in link into a chat.
Tella's Auto Capture records any http or https page on a public domain. It can't record localhost, IP addresses, intranet hosts, desktop or mobile apps, or sites with a bot check.
