How to do it
- If the app needs a sign-in, save a demo login under Settings → Credentials.
- Ask for one take per lesson, naming where each demo ends.
- Apply the suggested cuts and add the takes to a video in lesson order.
- Record your voiceover in an audio app, then add the file as a sound.
Good to know
- Closed beta on paid plans: email support@tella.com for access. Each take uses your workspace's credits, the same balance the Tella Agent spends.
- Auto Capture can't record localhost, IP addresses, intranet hosts, or desktop or mobile apps.
- Some sites block automated browsers. For your own site, a firewall rule can let captures through.
- Use a demo account with sample data. Anything it can see may appear in the video.
Frequently asked questions
Yes. Connect Claude or ChatGPT to Tella's MCP server in Settings → Connections and ask it to record a page by its full URL. It can then add the take to a new or existing Tella video.
Yes. Ask Tella's Auto Capture for a keyboard-driven demo, then turn on Keystrokes in the editor's Effect sidebar. Typing from a saved login is never recorded, so passwords stay hidden.
Ask the Tella Agent for a new take of the same journey. If a take is almost right, ask for a revision that says what to change. It arrives as a new take, and the original stays unchanged.
