Refresh walkthrough videos after your interface changes

When your app's interface changes, ask Tella's Auto Capture for a fresh take of each affected flow. An AI agent films it again in its own browser.

Auto Capture updating account settings in Plinthwork, a made-up wedding planning app we test with.

Try it in Tella

Paste a prompt into the Tella Agent in the editor, or into Claude or ChatGPT connected to Tella, then ask for changes.

Start here
Our settings page at https://app.example.com/settings was redesigned. Use Tella Auto Capture to record changing the workspace name and uploading a logo, signed in with the "Demo account" credential. End on the saved settings. Put it in a new Tella video called "Workspace settings (new design)".
  • Docs lead with a help center

We shipped a new sidebar in https://app.example.com. List the articles at https://example.com/help whose steps use it. For each, record an Auto Capture video that follows the written steps, signed in as "Docs demo". Tell me where video and article disagree.

  • B2B SaaS product marketer

The reports screen at https://app.example.com/reports has a new filter bar. Record a 45-second Auto Capture take: filter to the last 90 days and the Enterprise segment, end on the revenue chart. Don't export or save. Use the "Marketing sandbox" credential.

Our app's interface changed. How do I refresh our walkthrough videos without re-recording each one?

In Tella, ask Auto Capture for a new take of each flow that changed. Give the Tella Agent the page's full URL and the name of a login saved under Settings → Credentials. An AI agent explores the new interface in its own browser, scripts the flow and films it with an animated cursor.

How to do it

  1. List the changed flows and the page each one starts on.
  2. Save a demo login under Settings → Credentials if the flows need sign-in.
  3. Ask for one Auto Capture take per flow, with steps to show or skip.
  4. Read the handoff note, place the take in a video and reshare it.

Good to know

  • Closed beta on paid plans: email support@tella.com for access. Each take uses your workspace's credits, the same balance the Tella Agent spends.
  • Takes have no narration. Record a voiceover in an audio app and add the file as a sound.
  • Auto Capture can't record localhost, IP addresses, intranet hosts, desktop or mobile apps, or sites that block automated browsers.
  • Only the person who started a take can revise it. A revision keeps the script and changes what you asked.

Frequently asked questions

Yes. Connect Claude or ChatGPT to Tella's MCP server and ask for Auto Capture takes of the changed flows. It checks each take until it's delivered, then can put it in a Tella video.

Yes. An AI app connected to Tella can read your help center, record an Auto Capture video that follows each article's steps, and compare the two. If the agent can't follow an article, a button name has probably changed.

Tella's Auto Capture undoes what it saved while exploring before it films. It asks before one-way actions like sending an email, and tells you if a delivered take leaves something changed.
