Find help articles whose steps no longer match your product

Ask an AI app connected to Tella to follow each help article's steps with Auto Capture. Where the agent gets stuck, a step likely needs fixing.

Auto Capture following a help article's steps in Tallyfern, a made-up invoicing app. It flagged a Save button that isn't there.

Try it in Tella

Paste a prompt into the Tella Agent in the editor, or into Claude or ChatGPT connected to Tella, then ask for changes.

Read https://example.com/help/invite-teammates and use Tella Auto Capture to follow its steps on https://app.example.com with the "Demo account" credential. Then list every step that is missing, out of order or names a button that isn't there.
  • Support content manager

Find the five most-read Billing articles at https://example.com/help. Record an Auto Capture take of each on https://app.example.com with the "Support sandbox" credential. Don't change plan or payment details. Give me a table: article, mismatched step, what the product shows.

  • HR software docs

Our payroll app moved its time-off settings. Follow https://example.com/help/approve-time-off-requests on https://app.example.com with Auto Capture, signed in with the "Manager demo" credential. Stop on the request screen without approving anything. Which steps no longer match?

How can I find which help center articles have steps that no longer match my product?

Ask an AI app connected to Tella's MCP server to follow each help article with Auto Capture. Auto Capture signs in with a saved login, runs the article's steps in its own browser and records them. The AI compares the video with the article. If they disagree, or the take ends with a question, a step needs fixing.

How to do it

  1. Connect Claude, ChatGPT or another AI app to the Tella MCP server.
  2. Save a demo login in Settings → Credentials, with Use on set to your site.
  3. Ask the AI to follow an article with Auto Capture, naming that credential.
  4. Fix any mismatched steps, then ask for a new take to confirm.

Good to know

  • Closed beta on paid plans: email support@tella.com for access. Each take uses your workspace's credits, the same balance the Tella Agent spends.
  • Auto Capture only records public http or https pages, not localhost, IP addresses, intranet hosts or sites with a bot check.
  • Name a saved login in your prompt, never a password. Password fields are masked in the recording.
  • Auto Capture uses the account for real, so use sample data. It asks before changes it can't undo.

Frequently asked questions

Yes. Connect Claude, ChatGPT, Claude Code, Cursor or another client to Tella's MCP server. It starts the Auto Capture take, compares the video with the article and tells you what doesn't match.

Tella's capture agent got stuck on something the instructions didn't explain. If it can't follow an article's steps, a reader probably can't either.

Yes. Ask the AI to put the take in a new Tella video. A take isn't in your library until then. Trim it, share it and paste its embed code into the article.
