How do I turn a customer testimonial into an animated quote card for a video?
Open your video in Tella and ask the Tella Agent to build a quote card with Tella Motion. Paste the testimonial with the person's name and role, and say where it goes: its own Tella Motion clip, an overlay on a recorded clip, or b-roll timed to your words. The text stays editable.
How to do it
- Open your video in the Tella editor and open the Tella Agent chat.
- Paste the quote, name and role, and say where the card goes.
- Describe the colors, font, and a reveal by character, word or line.
- Play the preview and ask for changes, like "hold it longer".
Good to know
- Available to everyone: through the Tella Agent on a paid plan or the 7-day trial, or through Claude or ChatGPT on any plan.
- A Tella Motion clip has no transcript, layouts or cuts. Use an overlay or b-roll to follow your speech.
- Fonts come from Tella Motion's font list. If a weight is missing, it uses the nearest one.
- Tella Motion animates text, shapes and your images. It does not generate footage of the customer.

Yes. In Tella, duplicate a Tella Motion clip from its menu in the clip list, then ask the Tella Agent to change the quote and name. The layout and animation stay the same.
