Matching title cards for every chapter

Ask the Tella Agent for an intro, a card per chapter or an end screen. Tella Motion builds each one as a clip in your video.

Grant's video with the intro card the Tella Agent built in Tella Motion from an album cover he pasted in: glassy raindrops, glowing type and a frosted fade.

Try it in Tella

Paste a prompt into the Tella Agent in the editor, or into Claude or ChatGPT connected to Tella, then ask for changes.

Start here
Add a Tella Motion clip at the start of my video as an intro title card: the video's title in large type on a dark gradient, fading in word by word, with a thin line drawing underneath. Make it four seconds.
  • Course chapters

Make a two-second title card before each chapter, all in the same design: chapter number small at the top, chapter name large, white on navy, sliding up from the bottom.

  • Marketing end screen

Add a five-second end card after my last clip: "Thanks for watching", example.com/demo below it, and a button-style call to action that pulses once. Match my intro card's colors.

How do I make animated title cards and chapter intros for a video with AI?

Ask the Tella Agent for a title card and Tella Motion builds it as a clip in your video, or add one with Add clip → New Tella Motion clip. Describe the text, look and motion. For chapters, ask for one card per chapter. The agent copies the first card and swaps the text, so every card matches.

How to do it

  1. Open your video in the Tella editor and open the Tella Agent.
  2. Say what the card says and where it goes.
  3. Describe the background, fonts, colors and how the text animates in.
  4. Ask for changes, like a renamed chapter or a fixed typo.

Good to know

  • Available to everyone: through the Tella Agent on a paid plan or the 7-day trial, or through Claude or ChatGPT on any plan.
  • A Tella Motion clip runs 10 seconds by default. Ask for the length you want.
  • Tella Motion clips have no transcript, layouts or cuts. Rename, duplicate, move or delete them from the clip list.
  • Each chapter card is a separate copy, so you can change one without touching the others.

Frequently asked questions

Two to five seconds suits most intros and chapter titles in Tella. That's long enough to read the title twice and short enough that viewers don't skip.

Yes. Ask the Tella Agent to save the steps as a skill or to remember your intro style. It can then rebuild the same design in your next Tella video.

Yes. When you connect Claude or ChatGPT to Tella's MCP server, it gets the same Tella Motion tools as the Tella Agent. The graphics show up in your Tella editor while it builds them.
