SaaStr AI Annual returns to the San Mateo County Event Center on May 11–12, 2027. The organizer describes it as a B2B and AI event for founders, executives, and venture capitalists.

The event has changed since this guide was first published for the 2024 edition. It now runs for two days and puts AI-focused programming alongside its established SaaS content.

Who should attend?

SaaStr is aimed at people building, funding, selling, and operating B2B software companies. The official 2027 program calls out founders, CROs, CMOs, CCOs, and venture capitalists.

It is most relevant if you want to:

  • Learn how other B2B and AI companies approach go-to-market, sales, marketing, customer success, and product
  • Meet founders, operators, and investors working in SaaS
  • Join role-specific programming for senior revenue, marketing, and customer leaders
  • Compare tools and operating approaches across B2B companies

What to expect

The organizer has announced more than 200 speakers and over 100 deep-dive workshops for 2027. The planned program includes AI-native go-to-market, sales, marketing, customer success, and product.

SaaStr also plans dedicated CMO, CRO, and CCO summits, a pitch competition, investor meetings, and scheduled one-to-one networking through its matchmaking app. Side events are expected to run throughout the week around the San Francisco Bay Area.

Location and format

  • Dates: May 11–12, 2027
  • Venue: San Mateo County Event Center
  • Area: San Francisco Bay Area
  • Format: In person

SaaStr's official site is already selling 2027 tickets, but prices can change by ticket type and sales window. Check the current registration page rather than relying on an old quoted price.

Is SaaStr AI Annual worth it?

The event is a strong fit for B2B software teams that want a large program and structured networking in one place. If your work is outside B2B, SaaS, or AI, a more focused industry event may give you a better return.

Before booking, scan the current agenda for sessions tied to a problem you need to solve and identify the people you want to meet. That makes a large conference much easier to navigate.

Afterwards, record a conference recap with Tella to share the useful sessions and next steps with your team.
