A tutorial is a video that teaches viewers how to do something. Its purpose is to help the viewer complete the task on their own after watching. Keep in mind that in some cases viewers will try to complete the task shown in the tutorial while they watch it.

How to create a tutorial video?
Record
From the Tella recorder choose what you want to capture — you can record your screen and camera at the same time, or only your screen — then press “Start recording”. It’s a good idea to split your recording into separate clips for different parts or topics in the tutorial. This will make it easier to edit and easier for viewers to watch.
Customise
Once you’ve recorded your clips you can customise and edit them. Trim clips so that they start and end where you want. Choose custom backgrounds and apply different layouts.
Share or Download
When you’re done editing, press “Finish”. Now you can share a link to your video’s page, post on social media, or download as an mp4 file so that you can publish to YouTube or other platforms.

Good product demos are both thorough and easy to follow. A good product demo should take viewers through each step of the task in a logical way. A screen and camera recording is a good approach because it allows viewers to learn in two ways: they see how something is done on your screen and they can watch and listen to your explanation from your camera track.
Tutorials are educational. Their job is to teach its viewer how to do something. By the end of the tutorial the viewer should be able to complete the tasks shown in the tutorial on their own. Tutorials can be used to help novices get up to speed and help experts expand their knowledge.
Tutorials can be long or short depending on the topic For very specific tutorial videos, covering a single task 1 - 2 minutes is a good length. For more complex topics that require explanation and cover numerous steps, up to 7 minutes is a good target. For very complex topics with countless tasks and steps (for example, how to create a 3D animation) a tutorial may need to be up to an hour long. For any topic, if you expect to go beyond 30 minutes long, consider splitting it into separate tutorial videos.
