Paste a prompt into the Tella Agent in the editor, or into Claude or ChatGPT connected to Tella, then ask for changes.
Add a checklist on the right side with five setup steps I name, faded at first. As I finish each one, draw a green checkmark and brighten its text. Keep it clear of my face and hold the list two seconds after the last step.
Show a checklist titled 'Get your workspace ready': Invite your team, Connect your calendar, Pick a template, Turn on notifications. Check each item when I say it's done. White text on a dark navy card, teal accent.
While I configure single sign-on, keep a small checklist in the top right: Add identity provider, Upload certificate, Map user groups, Test sign-in. Check each one when I say it's done. Don't cover the settings panel.
How do I make an animated checklist that checks off each item as I talk?
Ask the Tella Agent in the Tella editor for an animated checklist over your recording, and Tella Motion draws a checkmark on each item as you finish talking about it. Name the items or let it take them from what you say. Items stay editable text, so you can reword one or change colors later.
How to do it
- In the Tella editor, open the Tella Agent chat (Shift + S).
- List the items, or ask it to pull the steps from your transcript.
- Say where the list sits, how checkmarks look and when each appears.
- Watch the preview and ask for changes, like "check it a beat later."
Good to know
- Available to everyone: through the Tella Agent on a paid plan or the 7-day trial, or through Claude or ChatGPT on any plan.
- Timing to your words needs a recorded clip with speech. A standalone Tella Motion clip times checkmarks in seconds instead.
- Tella Motion builds graphics from text, shapes, paths and media you add. It does not generate footage.
- A checklist can play as an overlay, full-frame b-roll, or its own Tella Motion clip.
