Build one animated graphic and reuse it with new text
Build an animated title or lower third once with Tella Motion, then ask the Tella Agent for copies with new text.
Try it in Tella
Paste a prompt into the Tella Agent in the editor, or into Claude or ChatGPT connected to Tella, then ask for changes.
Build an animated title: a dark navy card, white bold sans-serif text, and a coral line that draws in below. Slide the words up one by one over 1 second, hold 3 seconds, then fade out. Copy it for "Pricing changes" and "What's next".
Make a weekly update title card: "Episode 12: Faster exports" white on teal. Scale in the number, fade in the topic word by word. Copy it for "New in the editor", "Fixes" and "Coming soon", each before its segment.
Create a lower third for this panel: speaker name in bold, session title below in lighter weight, on a purple bar that wipes in from left when each speaker first talks. Copy it per speaker: [paste names and titles].
How do I reuse one animated graphic and only change the text?
In Tella, build the graphic once with Tella Motion, then ask the Tella Agent for copies with new text. Each copy keeps the layout, colors and animation and changes only the words. Copies are independent, so editing one never changes the others. Place each one as an overlay, b-roll or Tella Motion clip.
How to do it
- Open your video and describe the graphic to the Tella Agent (Shift + S).
- Refine the font, colors, timing and text animation until it looks right.
- Ask for copies with new text for each topic, speaker or segment.
- Have it place each copy as an overlay, b-roll or Tella Motion clip.
Good to know
- Available to everyone: through the Tella Agent on a paid plan or the 7-day trial, or through Claude or ChatGPT on any plan.
- Copies don't stay linked. Changing the original later won't update them, so finalize the design first.
- Tella Motion media in the Media Library is a frozen snapshot. Placing it creates a new document for that video.
- If a font lacks the weight you ask for, Tella Motion uses the nearest one it has.

Yes. In the Tella editor, open the Tella Motion clip's menu and choose Duplicate, then ask the Tella Agent to change the text. Use Rename to tell the copies apart.
In Tella, copies stay in the video they were made in. Ask the Tella Agent to remember your style, or save the request as a skill anyone in your workspace can reuse.
