Find where viewers stop watching and tighten that part
See where engagement drops in Tella analytics, then ask the Tella Agent to cut or tighten that section of your recording.
Try it in Tella
Paste a prompt into the Tella Agent in the editor, or into Claude or ChatGPT connected to Tella, then ask for changes.
Engagement drops between 2:10 and 3:05, where I explain account settings. Tighten that section to under 30 seconds. Cut filler words, pauses over half a second and the point I repeat. Keep the sentence about the Save button. List each cut first.
Students leave this lesson around 4:30 to 5:45, where I walk through a spreadsheet formula. Cut my long setup, keep the final result, and zoom in on the formula bar when I type it.
Reps stop watching this onboarding video at 1:50, during the pricing tiers. Remove the pricing section so it goes from the product overview to objection handling. Then rewrite the chapters to match and suggest a clearer title.
How do I find where viewers drop off in my video and tighten that part?
Open the video's analytics in Tella to see where engagement drops, then ask the Tella Agent to tighten that range. The engagement chart shows where interest falls, and the Views list shows how far each viewer got. The agent reads your transcript and timeline and makes the cuts while you watch.
How to do it
- Open analytics from the view count or More (…) → Analytics in the editor.
- Note the time range where the engagement chart drops.
- Give the agent that range, or select the words and click Add to chat.
- Tell it which lines to keep and your target length.
Good to know
- Needs a paid plan or the 7-day trial. Messages use your workspace's credits.
- The engagement chart covers views from January 30, 2026 onward and excludes your own signed-in views.
- Only a video's editors and creators can open its analytics. Without Premium, the range goes back 30 days.
- Zooms, blurs, highlights and overlays entirely on cut footage are deleted and don't return if you clear the cuts.
