Tella's Auto Capture records the demo for you, so you don't write the script. Give the Tella Agent your page's full URL and the outcome you want. An AI agent explores the page in its own browser on Tella's servers, writes and checks a script, then films it in a clean browser with an animated cursor.
How to do it
- If the page needs a sign-in, save a demo login under Settings → Credentials.
- Ask the Tella Agent for one take per task, with URL, audience and ending.
- Answer if it asks a question or needs a sign-in code.
- Place the take in a video and edit it, or ask for a revision.
Good to know
- Closed beta on paid plans: email support@tella.com for access. Each take uses your workspace's credits, the same balance the Tella Agent spends.
- Auto Capture records public http or https pages only, not localhost, IP addresses, intranet hosts, desktop apps or mobile apps.
- Sites that block automated browsers show a bot check it can't pass. On your site, a firewall rule lets captures through.
- Takes have no narration. Record a voiceover in any audio app and add the file as a sound in Tella.
Frequently asked questions
Yes. Connect the app to Tella's MCP server under Settings → Connections and ask it for a take. Takes aren't in your Tella library until you ask the app to place them in a video.
Yes. Tella's Auto Capture clicks every control by default. Ask for a keyboard-driven demo and it uses shortcuts. Key presses are saved with the take, except saved login text, so you can show them with Keystrokes.
Each Tella Auto Capture take comes with a handoff note, chapter markers, and suggested cuts for page loads and long pauses. The Tella Agent applies the cuts it agrees with. In other AI apps, ask for them.
