Glitch text reveals for your next product launch
Ask the Tella Agent for a glitch title. Tella Motion layers color split, displacement and pixelation on live text, timed in short bursts.
Try it in Tella
Paste a prompt into the Tella Agent in the editor, or into Claude or ChatGPT connected to Tella, then ask for changes.
Make a 5-second glitch title in a new Tella Motion clip. Show 'Version 3.0' in bold white sans-serif on near-black. Glitch it for 1.5 seconds with chromatic aberration, turbulent displace and mosaic, then snap clean. Add bursts at 2.5 and 3.8 seconds.
When I say 'introducing the Relay CLI', add a Tella Motion overlay of the name in white sans-serif, top left. Glitch it in with a red and blue split and a wiggle, settle within one second, fade out at the demo.
Open with a Tella Motion clip that glitches in 'Live sync', 'Audit log' and 'SSO' one at a time. Each takes 0.4 seconds, holds one second, then glitches out. White text on dark navy, electric green on 'SSO'.
How do I make a glitch text effect for a tech product launch video?
In Tella, ask the Tella Agent for a glitch title, either as its own Tella Motion clip or as an overlay on a recorded clip. Tella Motion layers chromatic aberration, turbulent displace, wave warp and mosaic on live text. It keyframes them into short bursts, and an overlay can time the reveal to what you say. The text stays editable.
How to do it
- Choose Add clip → New Tella Motion clip, or select a recorded clip.
- Give the Tella Agent your wording, font style, colors and background.
- Describe the glitch: which effects, how strong, and when bursts hit.
- Preview it and ask for changes like "less color split" or "settle earlier".
Good to know
- Available to everyone: through the Tella Agent on a paid plan or the 7-day trial, or through Claude or ChatGPT on any plan.
- A Tella Motion clip has no transcript. To time a glitch to your voice, use an overlay on a recorded clip.
- The glitch is several effects layered and keyframed, not one preset. Ask the Tella Agent which effects are available.
- Titles use fonts from Tella Motion's font list, so name a style or ask which fonts are available.
