Make the same product demo in several languages
Film the same product demo once per language with Tella's Auto Capture, then add translated subtitles viewers can pick. Tella doesn't dub audio.
Try it in Tella
Paste a prompt into the Tella Agent in the editor, or into Claude or ChatGPT connected to Tella, then ask for changes.
Use Tella Auto Capture to record creating a shift template in Larkspan at https://app.example.com/de/schedules for new German-speaking customers. Sign in with the "Demo account (German)" login. Show how to get to the page on camera and end on the saved template. Put the take in a new Tella video called "Larkspan demo (DE)".
Record the same Brindlewood onboarding demo three times with Tella Auto Capture, starting on https://app.example.com/fr/onboarding, https://app.example.com/es/onboarding and https://app.example.com/ja/onboarding. Use the "Demo FR", "Demo ES" and "Demo JA" logins. These are demo accounts, so ticking tasks is fine. Each time, tick off the first two tasks and end on the progress bar. Put each take in its own Tella video, named by language.
From 0:40 to 1:30 I explain the export flow in Quillmoor. Film https://app.example.com/es/exports with Auto Capture and use it as b-roll over that part. Then add subtitles and translate them to Spanish and Portuguese.
How do I make the same product demo in several languages?
In Tella, ask Auto Capture for one take per language: give the Tella Agent, or Claude or ChatGPT connected to Tella's MCP server, the same journey each time with that language's URL (such as /de/ or /fr/) or a saved login whose account uses that language. Takes have no narration. To add spoken words, record yourself in Tella, then translate the subtitles from Subtitles → Subtitle language → Add translation. Tella doesn't dub audio.
How to do it
- Find the URL for each language. If your app sets the language per account, save one demo login per language under Settings → Credentials and name it after the language.
- Ask for one Auto Capture take per language, with the same journey and end screen, the full URL and the login to use.
- Read each take's handoff note, then put each take in its own Tella video.
- To narrate, record yourself and have the Tella Agent place the take as b-roll. Then press S, open Subtitle language and choose Add translation.
- In Viewer settings, set Subtitle language to Viewer's language, then share the video.
Good to know
- Beta, on paid plans. Each take uses your workspace's credits, the same balance the Tella Agent spends.
- A take has no narration, so there's nothing to translate until you add your own voice. Tella translates subtitles, up to 10 languages per video.
- Captures run on Tella's servers in the US and see your site as a new visitor would. If your site picks the language automatically, it may show the default one, so start each take on a language-specific URL or sign in to an account set to that language.
Frequently asked questions
Partly. Connect Claude or ChatGPT to Tella's MCP server and ask for one Auto Capture take per language URL. It can also put each take in a Tella video. Tella's MCP tools can't create subtitle translations, so add those in the editor's Subtitles panel or ask the Tella Agent.
No, Tella doesn't dub audio. It translates subtitles, and viewers can pick their language on the shared video. If you need a dubbed voice, download each translated track as SRT or WebVTT and give it to a dubbing tool.
Auto Capture picks a saved login by site. When more than one login matches a page, the AI picks one by name. Name each login after its language, such as "Demo account (German)", and use that name in your request.
