Make a product demo video for investors and your pitch deck

Have Tella's Auto Capture film your web app for investors, add Tella Motion title cards and your voiceover, then link the video in your pitch deck.

Try it in Tella

Paste a prompt into the Tella Agent in the editor, or into Claude or ChatGPT connected to Tella, then ask for changes.

Start here
Use Tella Auto Capture to film a product demo of Brightloom at https://app.example.com for seed investors. Start on the dashboard, create a weekly shift plan for a 12-person café, fill the open shifts, then publish it and end on the published plan. Sign in with the "Investor demo" credential. Film the whole journey on camera, page to page, rather than jumping straight to the end.
  • Deck slide clip

Record about 30 seconds of https://app.example.com/insights for a Series A pitch deck. Open the Quarrystone sample workspace, switch the revenue chart from monthly to quarterly, and end on the forecast panel. Use the "Investor demo" credential and don't change any settings.

  • Title card

Add a 4-second Tella Motion clip at the start of this video: "Fernwick" in white on a deep navy background, then the line "Expense reports in one click" fading in below it. Add a matching end card that says "fernwick.example.com".

How do I make a product demo video for investors or a pitch deck?

Use Tella's Auto Capture to film the demo, then finish it in the Tella editor. Open a video and ask the Tella Agent to record your product. Give it the full URL, say the demo is for investors and say where it should end. If the app needs a sign-in, save a demo login first. Add title cards with Tella Motion and your voiceover as an audio file. Then share the video link or add it to Google Slides with the Tella add-on.

How to do it

  1. If your app needs a sign-in, save a demo account with sample data under Settings → Credentials.
  2. Open a video and ask the Tella Agent to record your URL. Describe the journey and where it should end.
  3. Read the handoff note, then trim the clip and add zooms.
  4. Add title cards from Add clip → New Tella Motion clip, and upload your voiceover file as a sound.
  5. Share the video link, or paste its tella.tv link into Google Slides and press Tab to embed it with the Tella add-on.

Good to know

  • Beta, on paid plans. Each take uses your workspace's credits, the same balance the Tella Agent spends.
  • Tella can't record a voiceover onto a finished clip or generate an AI voice. Record your narration in any audio app and add the file as a sound.
  • Auto Capture films public http and https pages only. It can't film localhost, intranet hosts, or desktop and mobile apps.
  • Anything the demo account can see may end up in the video, so use an account with realistic sample data, not real customer data.

Frequently asked questions

Yes. Connect Claude or ChatGPT to Tella's MCP server in Settings → Connections, under AI apps. Then ask it to use Tella to record a demo of your app's full URL for investors. When the take is delivered, ask it to put the take in a new Tella video. The take isn't in your library until then.

Yes. One Auto Capture take films one journey, so ask for one take per part, such as setup, the core workflow and reporting. Then add them to the same Tella video in order. To label each part, put a Tella Motion title card before it.

Ask the Tella Agent to revise the take and say what to change, such as "also open the forecast panel and end there." The revision comes back as a new take and keeps everything you didn't ask to change. The earlier take stays as it was. To shorten or reorder a take, edit the clip in the editor.
