Make a video for every help article from its written steps

Have Claude or ChatGPT find the help articles with no video and record one for each with Tella Auto Capture, from the article's own steps.

Auto Capture recording a video of a Tella help article from the article's written steps.

Try it in Tella

Paste a prompt into the Tella Agent in the editor, or into Claude or ChatGPT connected to Tella, then ask for changes.

Start here
Audit the help center at https://example.com/help and list the articles that don't have an embedded video. Pick the most-read one, then use Tella Auto Capture to record a video that follows the article's written steps on https://app.example.com, signed in with the "Demo account" credential. When it's delivered, check the video matches the article step by step and tell me anywhere it doesn't. Then put it in a new Tella video named after the article.
  • Support team backlog

List the Getting started articles at https://example.com/help with no embedded video, most-read first. Work through them one at a time: record each with Tella Auto Capture on https://app.example.com using the "Support sandbox" credential, check it against the article, and put it in a Tella video named after the article.

  • Invoicing app article

Use Tella Auto Capture to record https://example.com/help/send-an-invoice on https://app.example.com, signed in with the "Docs demo" credential. Follow the article's numbered steps and stop on the invoice preview without sending it. Tell me any step that differs, then put the take in a Tella video named "Send an invoice" with captions and chapters.

How can I make a video for every help center article without recording them myself?

Ask Claude or ChatGPT, connected to Tella's MCP server, to find the help articles with no embedded video and record one for each with Auto Capture. Auto Capture follows the article's written steps in its own browser, signed in with a saved demo login. The AI checks each take against the article, then puts it in a Tella video named after the article.

How to do it

  1. Save a demo login in Settings → Credentials, with Use on set to your app's site.
  2. Ask the AI to list the articles with no embedded video, most-read first.
  3. Have it record each article from its steps and check the take against the article.
  4. Add captions and chapters, then paste the video's embed code into the article.

Good to know

  • Closed beta on paid plans: email support@tella.com for access. Each take uses your workspace's credits, the same balance the Tella Agent spends.
  • One take films one article. For a batch, ask the AI to work through the list one article at a time.
  • Name a saved login in your prompt, never a password. Password fields are masked in the recording.
  • Auto Capture only records public http or https pages, not localhost, intranet hosts, desktop or mobile apps, or sites with a bot check.

Frequently asked questions

Yes. Connect Claude, ChatGPT, Claude Code, Cursor or another client to Tella's MCP server. It reads your help center, starts an Auto Capture take for each article and puts the finished take in a Tella video.

Yes. Claude found 179 of Tella's 252 help articles with no video, then recorded a 26-second demo for the most-read one straight from its steps.

If Tella's capture agent can't follow the steps, a reader probably can't either. A step is likely missing, out of order or names a button that has changed. Fix the article and ask for a new take.
