Using a custom domain makes your website look professional and helps people remember it. It keeps visitors on your site longer because it looks more trustworthy. A custom domain also strengthens your brand and improves your search engine ranking, making it easier for people to find you online.
FAQ
When you use a custom domain in Tella, the links to your Tella videos will not be under Tella's domain e.g. tella.tv/video/xxx/view - instead they'll be under your custom domain e.g. mywebsite.com/video/xxx/view.
In your Tella account, navigate to your account settings, then under 'Custom Domain'*, click on 'Customise'.
Follow the steps to add a custom domain or subdomain of your choosing to share your videos on.
*Custom domain is for Tella Premium users only.
You can feature videos on your website without hosting them by embedding them from other platforms.
With Tella, you can do this by either embedding the video itself using an iFrame in an existing webpage of your website OR by setting up a custom domain in Tella so that the link to watch your videos are using your own website domain or subdomain.
