Automated subtitles are the words displayed at the bottom of a video’s screen to show what’s being said. You can often edit them to correct the occasional typo, especially on branded names. Automated subtitles are commonly referred to as closed captions in the television industry.

Whether it's making dialogue clear when background noise drowns out speech, or enabling viewers to follow along without sound, subtitles ensure no one misses out. Open the Tella app on your computer and log in or sign up within a couple of clicks. From there, pick the screen and webcam you want to record. You can create as many clips as you need. Once you’ve got the footage you want, you can move to the next step.
