Get your video listed in Google Search Results.
Video indexing is about making your video content discoverable on Google. Essentially, it means ensuring that Google recognizes and includes your video in its search results, allowing people to find your video when they search for topics related to it. In Tella, you can turn this on or off for each video.
Video indexing helps your videos show up in search results, making it easier for more people to find them. This not only gets you more viewers but also the right kind of viewers who are interested in what you're showing. This could help you make more money from your videos if you're promoting your business.
Once your Tella video is ready to be shared and indexed, from the view page, click on 'Share', then toggle on 'Allow search engines to index this video' - your video will then be indexed in Google within 24-48 hours.
If you toggle it off, it works the same - your video will be de-indexed within the same time.
You can turn this on/off by default for all your Tella videos.
To make sure your videos show up in search results, focus on giving them clear titles and descriptions that explain what the video is about. Include important keywords that people might use to search for your topic.
Also, adding a transcript of the video can help search engines understand your content better, which might boost your video in search rankings.
Finally, creating a video sitemap and submitting it to search engines like Google can also help them find and index your videos more easily.
Yes, indexing videos is generally a good idea if you want them to be found more easily by a wider audience. When your videos are indexed, they can appear in search results, making it easier for people to discover your content when they search for topics related to your videos.
This can lead to more views, higher engagement, and potentially more opportunities for monetization if you're using your videos for business or promotional purposes.
It might be because the thumbnail image isn't big enough. Check if the thumbnail is the right size to catch people's attention.
Also, the way your website shows videos might affect their size in search previews. Ensuring your website is set up correctly for displaying videos can help fix this.
Another thing to consider is updating your video's metadata like titles and descriptions to make sure they're accurate and detailed, as this can influence how your video appears in search results.
First, ensure your video is high-quality and engaging. Use clear, descriptive titles and descriptions with relevant keywords. Adding a transcript can help Google understand your video better. Create a video sitemap and submit it to Google to make it easier for them to find and index your video. Also, make sure your website is easy to navigate and mobile-friendly, as this helps with better indexing and visibility in search results.
If you use Tella for your videos, you just have to turn on the option 'Allow search engines to index this video'.
